One of the exciting things about using ink is that there is no real comeback. Whatever mark you make stays, there is no real correction after it has been made. This, like most things, is not a hard a fast rule but nonetheless you have to feel confident when using ink otherwise it will come back and bite you in the bum. This drawing shows both the pitfalls and pleasures of using ink.
