Well I managed to get see the Freud retrospective yesterday at the National Portrait Gallery and whilst some rooms were far too small for he people attending overall the management of crowds was acceptable. There has been so much written about the exhibition that I won't really add much more other than to say I found it really inspiring. As for the drawing/painting ( I do get confused as to what is the correct term when using oil pastels) well I had thought to say it was an attempt to follow Freud but that wouldn't be true but what the heck?
