In the corner with Vincent

What an exhausting day I had yesterday.  However, it was a good type of exhausting as I spent the day in London with my friend David.  We started off at the British museum and the excellent '...Picasso to Julie Mehretu - modern drawing...' exhibition.

We then made our way to the Courtauld Gallery to OD on impressionist brilliance.  Actually the Courtauld is so much more and yet it maintains a very intimate feel, as well as being far too hot.   This is where I cam across these two women.  Initially they were deep in conversation totally oblivious to one of the masterpieces of west art just feet away from them.  It was only when the man joined them that they seemed to notice the painting on the wall.  Aren't people wonderful!
