The more you watch an animal the better you understand them. I have spent more time with coots, moorhens and other 'common' birds this morning and it is facinating to learn their behavioural patterns. The breeding season is starting and the birds are fighting over mates. To try and capture this takes time and effort however the more time you put in the better the photo at the end.
